Email Art & Home Economics Teacher/Lunch Supervisor
Hi! I am so excited to be here another year at PCCS. I feel like I have been given the best job in town because I get to see art through the eyes of children. I love to show them how truly wonderful God is and how HE was the very first artist.
I grew up the youngest in a family of eight. We lived in a nice victorian historical town in Wisconsin. Even as a young girl I recognized my mother had a love for art and she did a great job passing that love and appreciation on to me. The passion for art that was instilled in me as a little girl continued to grow while I was in high school where I took as many extra art classes as my schedule would allow. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to gain experience in fields like ceramics, stain glass and modernistic oil painting at a young age. Now I get to provide that same opportunity to other children.
Throughout my scholastic career I have had the opportunity to take a wide variety of art and art related classes in addition to Creative Writing, Psychology and Classroom Management.
I moved to Arizona in 1989 and quickly became involved in a local church and it's youth group. This is where I was lucky enough to find my husband, George. We have now been married over 17 years, and have been blessed with 3 children all of whom now attend PCCS.
In addition to Art, I also have the privilage of teaching the Home Ec. course for the Jr. / Sr. High students, and I often find myself in charge of many of the food related responsibilities at PCCS's many functions.
I enjoy the chance to encourage our students to be very creative and appreciate the art spark that God has instilled in all of them.
I began working at PCCS when our family moved to Payson in the spring of 2000 and I have enjoyed every moment since. I feel very fortunate to be able to teach and use the gifts God has given me to serve Him, and to be able to do so in such a positive, Christ affirming environment. PCCS has been a true blessing to myself, as well as my entire family. I look forward to having your children in my class!
God's Blessings,
Mrs. Jenny
