Third & Fourth Grade

I have been teaching at Payson Community Christian School for about 10 years.  I have taught first, second, third and fourth grades. Prior to coming to PCCS, I taught kindergarten in the Kingman Public School District for seven years. I feel very privileged to teach in a Christian School because it allows me to include faith in the education of our children.

I accepted Jesus as my Savior in Sunday school when I was in kindergarten.  I went through confirmation in the Lutheran church. Since being confirmed I have taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.  I have taken numerous Bible Study classes. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bemidji State University in Minnesota.  I have taken many continuing education classes to update my education. 

I have two daughters and three grandchildren.  I have lived in Minnesota, California, Arizona, and Delaware. I also had the privilege of living two years in both Turkey and Brunei.  I love to travel and enjoy hiking.  Reading is one of my favorite things to do.
