Dear Parents,
Thank you supporting us during our field day. The children had so much fun. This week we will be working with beginning sounds and rhyming words. In math we will continue working with addition. The children are learning to put the greater number in their minds and keep on counting the other number. For that, they are using Touch Math number cards. I will send a copy home for you to see how your child is doing. This technique will help them to succeed in math with ease. We will also keep working with subtraction by counting backwards with the same number cards.
During the coming weeks we will have several activities. National Day of Prayer will be on May 5th. Azure and Sierra will be praying for the families. On May 24, our kindergarten class will have a field trip to the Children Museum in Phoenix. I will send more details as the date approaches. May 27 will be our last day of school, and we will also have our kindergarten graduation. It is so exciting waiting for graduation!
