Payson Community Christian School is an independent, interdenominational Christian school founded in 1986 by a group of dedicated parents representing several local churches. The school has grown from less than 10 students in grades K - 12 to more than 160 on two different campuses in those same grades today, including the preschool and childcare programs.

PCCS is not affiliated with any church or denomination, although as can be seen in the doctrinal statement above, identifies itself with the evangelical Christian community. Within our student body and staff, over 20 local churches and assemblies are represented.
